Description

Fixed Term - 12 months

Well known for our high-quality parks and green spaces, we are taking forward a project to invest hundreds of thousands of pounds into sports facilities in parks, creating quality assets that will meet the needs of communities across the city.

By improving facilities and transferring these to communities and sports clubs to operate, we are ensuring that they have a sustainable future and are run successfully by those in the best place to do so.

We have a carried out an expressions of interest process and we have communities and clubs who now need hands-on support to take the next step and take on a sports facility with the right operating model.

We are looking for someone with strong community engagement and support skills with the ability to build the capacity of groups and organisations and ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need going forward.
