Accountabilities


You will provide specific support to the Cadent project team and provide a key interface with the Main Works Contractor and Customer to ensure that contractual and engineering, safety and environmental documents are correctly administered in compliance with company policy.

As part of this role, you will set up and maintain a Project Documentation system as per the procedure for Project Document Control (CAD/C&P/QMS/002) which shall be accessible from all relevant project offices and site locations.


  • Prepare document transmittal notes and maintenance of all documents received and issued by the Project Team
  • Assist Quality Advisor's by providing information as required for Technical Audits, and for Project Data Book closure
  • Administer the document control system, ensuring documents are filed, files adequately indexed, ad hoc reports produced as and when required. This will include the setup and use of SharePoint
  • Ensure the system is backed up periodically to a secure location
  • Support the handover of data to the Contractor for inclusion in the handover records as required by the procedure (CAD/C&P/QMS/006)
  • Maintain document registers for Requests for information, early warnings, customer
acknowledgements, Observation reports, Method statements, Technical Queries, Technical inspections, Drawings, Welding procedures, NDT procedures, Commissioning procedures, geotechnical data, etc.

  • Record meeting minutes as required, and provide administrative support including filing, copying, scanning, secure disposal of information, data input, letter production
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Manager and Team
  • Ensure support is provided to meet team's objectives and requirements
  • Support the development, collation, and production of Key Performance Indicators
  • Work within and promote the philosophy of safe team working
  • Broad knowledge of Cadent's Core Policies and Procedures that impact the way we operate
  • Facilitate and efficiently coordinate and administer projects the team is working on
  • Actively demonstrate and promote the Cadent Values, and positively contribute to a customeroriented approach
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence by adhering to agreed standard operating procedures and making suggestions for improvements
  • Be inquisitive with an interest in developing existing skill set and learning new skills
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A good standard of education is required, including GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

About you

Practical Experience

  • Previous practical experience in providing support in a similar business environment
  • Previous experience of working in support of a construction team would be of advantage
  • Experience of recording procedures and processes
  • Knowledge of Cadent systems and processes
  • Strong team player and ability to use own initiative to resolve issues
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities
  • Excellent IT skills
