_Recra are working in partnership_ with a leading business in the print management and fulfilment industries, they are looking to machine ops to their expanding team on a full time permanent basis.


The role:


  • Operate the machinery producing a high stand of product.
  • Fault finding on the machinery and fixing basic issues to reduce downtime before calling out the maintenance engineers
  • Monitor and check the product quality as you will be responsible for identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it
  • Work to Managers instructions as well as on your own initiative, whilst following company processes.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within defined time frames
  • Manage workflow, set up and run Sitma paper and poly wrapping machines as required
  • Ensure all jobs, once completed, are cleared from machines and working areas
  • Develop knowledge in all areas of Production to help improve work efficiency
  • Work with other departments to ensure that priorities and deadlines are met
  • Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines
  • Be accountable, take ownership and accept responsibility for your work and take pride in everything you do.
  • Always be time and taskmanaged & disciplined so deadlines are met, take initiative to outperform set goals.
  • Versatile and flexible in approach to your work.
  • Maintain high standards of site housekeeping.
  • Maintain ISO Quality Standards throughout all areas and continuously look for job /procedural improvements
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness & report any areas of concern to your Line Manager immediately. Adopt an uncluttered "clean as you go" work ethic.
  • To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business, including Health & Safety duties, routine checks, daily locking up duties etc.
  • Be cooperative, respond to and follow instructions, embracing any other reasonable duties as allocated/instructed by the Company Management.

  • FLT Counter Balance and Reach Licence desirable but not essential.
  • Calm head and solid problem solve
  • H&S basic or higher desirable but not essential.
  • Good IT skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Office 36

Expected Standards/Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):


  • As defined by your line manager.
  • Performance Reviews, minimum of 1 per quarter year.

Hours:

4 on 4 off day and night shifts are available
