About the role
LMP Education are looking for experienced tutors to deliver AEB courses. The role involves accredited delivery and assessment activities for several courses, such as Adult Care, preparing to work in Adult Social Care and Healthcare Support Services

Qualification range is up to and including level 3.

Additionally, it is required to plan lessons effectively and ensure that activities are differentiated towards individual learner needs.

Alongside that you will need to deliver training, coaching and assessment that effectively assists learners to develop vocational skills to develop and prepare learners for and in work.


Responsibilities **_[_The below listed tasks/responsibilities are not exhaustive:]_


Administrative & Strategy

  • Maintain learner records accurately, and ensure all evidence for all visits is readily available and accessible for audit and quality purposes.
  • Implement any improvements identified as a result of performance reviews and internal quality assurance.
  • To develop and maintain own professional and occupational knowledge, skills, and experience, including formal training, CPD and networking with fellow professionals. Incorporating selfreflection to improve practice.
  • Ensure Math's and English is embedded into delivery as required or delivered stand alone as needed.

Coaching & Collaborating

  • Undertake regular and meaningful reviews with learners to ensure they remain engaged on the program and that they are progressing well relative to their initial starting point.
  • Plan lessons effectively and ensure that activities are innovative and differentiated towards individual learners, and that learner support is effectively assessed, reviewed, implemented, and evaluated throughout the learner's journey.
  • Monitor learner's progression and ensure all forms of teaching, learning and assessment for each element of the qualification is completed enabling learners to meet the criteria for achievement of the chosen qualification.
  • Train, assess, motivate, mentor and support learners, assisting them to develop personal and social skills to better prepare them for work, progression, and life.
  • Take part in standardisation and team meetings and undertake continuing professional development as required.
  • Deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment to learners.

Training & Compliance

  • Promote, and deliver training in accordance with qualification and centre guidelines, including the promotion of equality and diversity and prevent in lessons.
  • Adhere to all statutory responsibilities and ensure Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance and complete all contractual paperwork and documentation as required.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Level 2 functional skills, Math's, English ICT
  • Level 3 award assessing, vocationally related achievement or equivalent
  • PTLLS, AET or DET qualified
  • Qualified in level 4 award in the quality assurance of assessment process and practice or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Qualified in ENTO HSS8 health & safety award of equivalent (Desirable)

Experience

  • Proven experience of online/classroombased learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Track record of delivering funded employability programs (including accredited and non
- accredited qualifications)

  • Record of working with unemployed people on programs that facilitate positive outcomes
  • History of working with people with complex barriers to progression
  • Experience of internal quality assurance and knowledge of awarding body requirements
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Ability to plan and organise own caseload and diary unsupervised
  • Able to meet and exceed retention and achievement targets for qualifications and progression
  • A positive, approachable team player with a cando attitude
