Associate Planner - Bedfordshire

HA 11012

Salary:
£45,000 - £55,00 plus Bonus, Benefits and Flexible Working

The company have built up a strong reputation within the rural and agricultural sectors and pride themselves on their ability to deliver solutions to tricky planning queries and their unique ability to successfully bring sites through to development (commercialand residential).


The office is situated in a converted barn in the beautiful countryside, it offers a warm and friendly environment with flexible and hybrid working and is also dog friendly.


  • Demonstrable experience within the planning industry (both development management and policy)
  • Chartership with the RTPI or RICS
  • A strong interest in the rural / agricultural / equestrian field(s)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven track record in project management and client liaison

Within the role you will:


  • Undertake site assessment, strategy development and preparing client proposals
  • Manage planning & development projects from instruction to completion
  • Negotiate option and promotion agreements with Developers
  • Prepare Local Plan representations and cases for development
  • Lodge appeals and potentially appearing at Informal & formal Hearings
  • Developing client relationships
