The Producer Responsibility Regulatory Services (PRRS) are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals to deliver regulatory and environmental outcomes. PRRS is part of Waste Regime Operational Services (WROS).
We currently have one permanent and one assignment role.

You will lead activities to ensure customer compliance with Producer Responsibility regulations, working in partnership with WROS and legal colleagues primarily.

Both roles involve providing technical advice and leadership.

You will support colleagues within WROS to ensure decisions are made on sound technical grounds, locally agreed timelines are met, and provide excellent customer service.

You will work alongside other Senior Technical Officers within WROS, the wider EA and devolved agencies to ensure coherent ways of working and where applicable to determine appropriate action where non-compliance is found.

You will communicate on process and guidance changes to ensure colleagues are able to undertake their roles effectively.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do.

You may be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident.

This may attract an additional payment, full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
