All sessions are taught by qualified teachers and will ultimately enable individuals to access different progression routes, training or support their journey into employment.


A fantastic opportunity now exists for a proven education professional to lead the tactical day-to-day activities of the Academy and forge the long-term strategic commercial vision.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Continue the strategic planning of the Academy, working closely with the Board and Chairman
  • Build a sustainable curricula and material for the Academy, designed to produce students with the required level of IT understanding and capability
  • Be responsible for the daytoday finance and administration of the Academy and its agreed standards of operation staffing, safety, student wellbeing and good practice
  • Advise on matters requiring change or fresh needs and/or opportunities
  • Develop strong partnerships with training providers

Key skills and experience:


  • A real passion, experience in and evidence of success in inspiring and teaching
  • Strong knowledge of the technology landscape and the associated skills required
  • A comprehensive background in teaching Information Technology
  • Ability to build and drive the strategic vision of the Academy
  • Commercial mindset, with the capability to develop strong partnerships with external providers
  • Strong understanding of the funding and grants available for the education sector
