Well Ops UK Ltd currently has an opportunity for a focussed and committed System Superintendent to join our subsea intervention team.
This is a permanent position, based at our Aberdeen office.
The System Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that the company owned intervention assets are maintained and available as per the controlling requirements (Written Scheme, Planned Maintenance System, Classification, Client requirements etc).
The System Superintendent will liaise closely with the Subsea Systems Intervention Group (SSIG) Asset Manager, providing input to weekly and monthly reports as required, they will also interface with the Engineering, Operations and Project departments to provide support as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Compliance of WSE and critical elements.
- Ensuring NS Enterprise system and system MDL is up to date at all times.
- Ensuring regulatory maintenance/recertification and testing is current at all times.
- Development & coordination of maintenance and preparatory work between clients, mobilisation / demobilisation plans and periodic maintenance ashore.
- Effect rectification of nonconformance relating to systems.
- Interface between purchasing & offshore to ensure materials are available for operation.
- Onshore/Offshore trouble shooting and DDR process completion.
- Offshore trips will be required.
Experience/Skills required:
- Degree/HND/HNC/ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical/hydraulic/electrical discipline and/or proven subsea equipment engineering or operational support experience.
- Understanding of the practical aspects of design with regard to manufacture and operation.
- Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques.
- Familiar with current standards relating to the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Good PC skills with a knowledge of Microsoft packages as well as Autocad and Adobe.
- Experience with Subsea Lubricator System, Multiplexed Control systems and Riser System essential.
- Previous offshore on SIL/IRS systems preferred.
