Overview


Funded by the Department of Education, this role forms an important part within the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools delivery team.

The ASK Ambassador will help deliver the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge programme to schools across the Midlands.

This role is about inspiring students, parents, and teachers to consider Apprenticeships as an option when leaving school by providing impartial information in presentations, assemblies, workshops, and at careers events.


This is a high energy, motivating position where you will travel and visit schools and colleges to deliver assemblies and workshops to students from Year 10 and above, informing the next generation as they make important decisions about the right ladder for their careers.

You will also deliver informative workshops to parents and to teachers. The role requires a positive and professional approach, energetic, innovative, adaptable and looking for a challenge.


This role can primarily be based in the East Midlands /Leicestershire and surrounding areas, but will need to be flexible in terms of locations as further travelling may be required to meet the needs of bookings in other areas.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge programme to schools across the Midlands
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions and other relevant key stakeholders
  • Prepare reports and complete administration duties associated to the role
  • Ensure all elements of administration are delivered to a high standard and on time
  • Attending team meetings when required and represent Workpays at relevant external meetings
  • Support and participate with relevant apprenticeship events when required

  • Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development

Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
