Position Summary:


Diaceutics' Global Lab Operations Team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity available for a creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual.


The role of the Marketing Assistant will include assisting with the creating, organizing and successful activation of various campaigns as well as conducting market analysis to understand our unique lab community potential.

In addition to being an excellent communicator and proactive team member, the role holder should have good multitasking and organizational abilities.

This role will report to the Head of Global Lab Operations, to help support and drive global lab community growth on DXRX - The Diagnostic Network.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Assist with conducting market research to understand lab target audiences needs and wants from content and platform experience and how our community uniquely supports their needs.

Assist with conducting competitor analysis to provide insight on where lab communities seek industry content and news.

Stay appraised of competitive positioning and offerings and leverage to inform.

Propose new and improved inbound marketing campaign ideas.


Assist with contributing to the creation of market facing materials for lab operation colleagues that support them on the ground engagement activities with lab partners.


Monitor and track the effectiveness of our marketing activities and supporting the development of metric reports to evidence effectiveness of activity to Head of GLO.

Assist with multi-marketing campaigns and workflow to ensure quality, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and compliance.

Create targeted events to promote our collaborations, capabilities and points-of-view.

Explore and evaluate third-party advertising and promotional partnership opportunities.


Key Competencies Required:


People Skills:

Collaborate with internal team members of the Global Lab Team and Marketing Team which will involve good interpersonal and communication skills in order fulfil all of the duties of the role.


Customer Service / External Impact:
Whilst not having direct contact with external stakeholders i.e.

customers / clients, the role holder will be conducting market research and competitor analysis and creating market-facting materials for lab operations colleagues.


Decision-Making:

The role will involve creating targeted events to promote collaborations and will require decisions to be made under the supervision of the Marketing Officer in conjunction with the Head of Global Lab Operations.


Initiative and Independence:

The role holder will use their own initiative when undertaking the duties of the role under the supervision of the Marketing Officer and as directed by the Head of Global Lab Operations.


Knowledge and Specialist Skills:


Education - qualified to at least degree level in Digital Marketing with 1+ year (2+ years' preferable) experience in a Marketing role and 1+ years' experience in life sciences marketing.

Have in-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques and analytical skills.

Experience must include at least two of the following elements:

  • Designing and managing webpages.
  • Working knowledge of Pardot or marketing automation software.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Graphic design.
Excellency at MS Office suite

Excellent attention to detail as well as flawless spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.

Excellent communicator in oral, written and visual presentations.


Experience working within the Pharma / Laboratory / Diagnostic industry is not essential for this role but of value along with a keen interest in learning the domain.


Experience working in a SaaS Product Marketing environment is not essential for this role but of value along with a keen interest in learning the domain.
