Year 6 Teaching Assistant - SAT Interventions

Do you have strong numeracy and literacy skills? Are you passionate about working with children and aiding their academic attainment? You have the power to shape a child's development and mould them into positive and independent learners as they progressthroughout their final year and into Secondary school

This Year 6 Teaching Assistant post will suit a graduate who has a burning desire of becoming a Primary teacher and wants to develop their teaching ability before they embark on their PGCE.

Location:
Barking and Dagenham

Role:
Year 6 Teaching Assistant (Full-time positions only)
Duration: 1-year minimum contract - opportunity to go permanent with the school after a year

Pay Scale:
Between £70 - £100 per day (paid weekly)

Required Specification:
Minimum 2:1 graduate with some experience within a primary or with supporting young people informally (summer camp etc.)
Desirable: 6 months or more within a Primary school as a Year 6 Teaching Assistant.

We are currently seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join an 'Outstanding' school in Barking and Dagenham on a full-time basis.

The school are looking for a minimum 2:1 graduate with a pre-existing understanding of the primary curriculum, with good literacyand numeracy skills.

Along with this, we are looking for a bubbly and passionate Year 6 Teaching Assistant who can work with students taking their SATS, running and monitoring maths and English booster sessions when required
