£11.00 to £13.00 per hour

Pace Recruitment Services are excited to be working with the fantastic reputable company based in the Andover area of Hampshire.

We are looking for a Furniture Maker to work on on a temporary ongoing basis for 12 weeks with a view to becoming permanent at the end of the 12 weeks if you get on well

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our client's production and installation team with the primary function of building and testing the bespoke furniture and ensure the correct specification and quality is of a high standard prior to delivery and installation.

As a Furniture Maker you will be:

Preparing various components, including aluminium rails, fixings and electrics before building the bespoke furniture
Assembling furniture frames from wooden components manufactured inhouse
Covering assembled frames with acoustic material and fabrics
Sticking and stapling fabric to cupboard/wall panel covers
Ability to lift and carry materials or product
Using hand and power tools
Reading technical drawings.
Other general Furniture Maker duties

Ideally previous experience and skills for this role would include:

Joinery, upholstery, machining or sewing (not essential)

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7am until 3.15pm.

Hourly pay is between £11.00 and £13.00 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly in arrears.
