Warehouse Supervisor | Full Time - PM | Thatcham


In this role you will be responsible for the overseeing of the day-to-day operations, you will manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively to meet our customers' needs.

The working days and hours for this role will be Monday to Friday midnight)


THE SALARY
Up to £31,500 dependant on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organising, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
  • Ensure goods are picked, loaded or unloaded and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure the warehouse is inspection ready at all times.
  • Manage and manually lift goods of various sizes and weight.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles of products and checking inbound and outbound goods.
  • Routing & planning of consignments to vehicles to maximize service and productivity for next day delivery.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures.
  • Occasionally work alongside the Warehouse Manager and cover the role during holiday periods.
  • Ensure a smooth and timely handover is completed.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualifications. A Level 2 in English & Maths desirable not essential.

Experience.

You will have experience of working as a Warehouse Supervisor within a logistics background and be able to work collaboratively and manage your team ensuring the smooth running of the depot.

Strong IT skills is essential. FLT licence essential.

Communication.

Show us that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships both with our colleagues and with our clients.

You will engage and communicate with audiences made up of a diverse background across all areas of EV Cargo.
Leadership.

You will lead and manage your team and have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, be organised and able to handle difficult situations.

People & Self Development. You will be detail orientated, able to manage multiple tasks and be a great team motivator
