Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 salary based on experience plus performance-based bonus.

Altus Safety is a leading, national, specialist working at height subcontractor within the construction industry and built environment that specialises in the design, supply, and installation of permanent roof access & fall protection equipment as well as ongoing testing and inspections.

The Head of Projects shall be responsible for the management of the project managers, project coordinators and engineers reporting directly to the Directors.

The role also requires the Head of Projects to work closely with the design & estimating team, suppliers, and other senior members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and support a small team within a timesensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
Manage data collection for the reporting of metrics to achieve productivity targets, maintain margins, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
Maintain constant communication with senior staff, project managers, and engineers to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget using our tailored CRM software.
Management of the weekly project scheduling.
Reviewing risk and method statements and ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained to the highest standards.
