This is a fixed term post of 9 months

The shift pattern for this post is: 8am-4pm.


The postholder will:

  • Support effective clinical care by providing an efficient service to patients, medical and nursing staff.
  • Ensure patient appointments for outpatient clinics are administered and processed accurately whilst covering a busy reception desk.
  • Maintain electronic and paper based patient records systems providing confidential, accurate and up to date information.
  • Take an active role in the continued development of the admin team within Trauma & Orthopaedics
The postholder must have

  • Education to Nat5 level or equivalent
  • Previous admin experience
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be self motivated with the ability to use own initiative
  • Working knowledge of Trakcare/Clinical Portal is desirable
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
