The Company:

Based in Westhoughton, Bolton, BID Group Ltd are the largest independent industrial door company in the UK and have been providing service, repair and installation solutions for all types of industrial door and loading bay equipment nationwide for over 35 years.

The Role:

BID Group Ltd are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our accounts team of 5 team based in Bolton, this a friendly down to earth finance team who will provide a warm welcome and supportive environment.

Initial duties will be dependent on experience but will include:

Transactional processing across sales and purchase functions
Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries
Time sheet processing / efficiency reporting
Nominal postings / Bank posting / Petty cash
Supplier / expense payments
Supporting Finance Manager with Management Accounts, monthend Journals and reporting
Balance sheet and bank statement reconciliations
Other administrative duties as required

The role will develop to cover more responsibilities dependant on ability, experience and desire to progress. Study support is available.

Key Skills:

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with:

Experience working in a finance team.
Good computer, numerical and excel skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative.

Competitive Salary £22,000 - £26,000 (dependant on experience)
