HOURS:05:00 - 13:00 Monday to Friday**
JOB PURPOSE:Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the post holder will be responsible for producing high quality product to customer specification in both a safe and timely manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist with ensuring that the production plan is delivered on a daily basis, by batching raw materials and cooking sauces following recipes
- Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are followed
- Complete daily quality checks, including viscosity and CCP temperature checks.
- Operating a BCH vessel which includes using a computer touch screen and the Bratt pans
- Sample product before release to ensure that it meets specifications
- Accurately complete on a timely basis all associated batching and cooking paperwork
- Ensure all waste is minimised
- Maintain high housekeeping standards
- Liaise with other departments where necessary to ensure that the business needs are met
- Using the Tropos touch screen system to transfer ingredients through the recipe system
- Requirement to work in all areas of the factory as requested by your line manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must be flexible with hours of work
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the production team
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to follow the production plan and complete paperwork
- Must have an excellent attendance record
