Principal Accountabilities:

To adhere to Health & Safety legislation and always follow inhouse procedures and policies
To be ready for service and to keep working areas well stocked during service
Make sure all deliveries are put away safely and stock is used to adhere to the FIFO rule
To ensure all work areas are to be kept clean, tidy
To operate with the Kitchen team through service
Ensure that all COSSH procedures are always adhered to, and to support and other kitchen staff
Ensure ALL recycling is adhered to and all waste is all taken out throughout and at the end of your shift
Make sure all food handling procedures are always followed
To work as a team and to supports others around you, as a good team worker we would expect everyone to share the overall workload and make sure everyone is leaving together weather this is food prep, washing up, cleaning, restocking etc.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as agreed with Catering staff which may include some washing up or cooking alongside the chefs or working in the HUB coffee shop
Work areas must be clean, tidy, and sanitized before breaks and end of shifts
Previous knowledge is preferred but training will be given on the job.

This is a great opportunity for a waiter/waitress from a busy hotel or restaurant looking for a better work life balance.

You must possess sufficient numeracy skills to operate tills, literacy skills to understand and fill out HACCP checklists. Experience and or training in Food Safety preferred, in-house training is however provided.

To record accurate financial transactions as required
To be a good communicator and a strong team player, prepared to be flexible and able to tackle hard physical work when needed

This is a full time role based at ACS Cobham working Saturday to Wednesday.
