Contract type: 12 Month FTC / Secondment
Our Child Protection Conference service within Safeguarding and Quality Assurance are seeking an experienced minute taker.
The purpose of the role is to provide high quality routine business support, ensuring that service standards and customer requirements are met in accordance with the agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
The position will require you to build supportive and collaborative ways of working with other Unit Coordinators in order to facilitate flexible and lateral working across Business Support.
You will participate in the development and implementation of service improvements, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and policies, provide guidance, support and expertise to other Business Support staff as directed by senior Business Support staff.
Ensure that processes, systems and governance arrangements are followed and fit for purpose.
The CP minute taker post requires to have a specialist skillset to undertake these statutory duties, which cannot be covered by other business support staff from within social care.
The CP minute takers minute very complex multi-agency meetings, where the nature of information being shared requires staff to have specialist training and ongoing support hence having a specialist dedicated team to do this CP minute takers role.

About You
- Demonstrable experience of taking an accurate record of meetings.
- Experience of managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrable experience of providing administrative and organisational support in a demanding environment and within statutory and procedural guidelines.
- Demonstrable experience organising and coordinating events and meetings.
- Knowledge of common business support systems used throughout the council.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the customers' business support requirements.
- Knowledge of national legislation, policies, standards and initiatives relevant to this role within a local government environment. Delivering customer service expertise.
