Our client, an innovative Intellectual Property Litigation and Advisory law firm, is looking to hire an Office Assistant.

This role is ideal for individuals with a degree (not necessarily in law) and some office experience.

The successful candidate will have a diverse front-of-house and administrative role with significant autonomy within a multifunctional team, including occasional legal support.

The position emphasizes teamwork, involving collaboration with employees at all levels, clients, and external partners.




Duties:


  • Processing digital and hard copy amendments, formatting, or transcription.
  • Opening and closing new files/volumes and following relevant procedures.
  • Handling filing, photocopying, bundling, and scanning tasks.
  • Assisting in booking domestic and international travel and creating itineraries.
  • Providing accurate postal delivery services, including internal and external mail collection and distribution.
  • Managing courier and taxi orders.
  • Ordering stationery and reference materials.
  • Supporting other staff with tasks and ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Managing the firm's library.
  • Processing invoices and expenses.
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Arranging shredding collections.
  • Dealing with external document storage, retrieval, and archiving.
  • Assisting with the firm's intranet.
  • Managing all meeting room bookings.
  • Organizing and serving meeting refreshments.
  • Greeting external visitors.
  • Overseeing meeting room and IT setups.

About You:


  • Administration experience is advantageous.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Motivated to meet and exceed performance standards.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing tasks.
  • Understanding the significance of your role within the organization.

Salary:
£27,000.00 per year
