An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time ward clerk to join the Ward team at Dorking Community Hospital.

The ward clerk will be required to promote a comprehensive service to both the ward multidisciplinary team, patients and their relatives.

A friendly and enthusiastic person is required to support the nursing team.

The post holder will undertake administrative and liaison duties enabling the nursing staff and multidisciplinary team to concentrate more freely on direct patient care.

The post involves considerable liaison with patients, relatives, hospital staff, other departments and other NHS hospitals. Excellent communication and organisational skills are paramount as well as a flexible attitude.

This role will include some weekend work but we can be flexible.
