Sports & Dance Coaches (Easter & Summer)
Work as a Sports or Dance Coach for a creative, fun, and resonant brand. We offer training to all members of the team with a clear induction, highlighting our expectations and delivery standards.

You will be able to use your current coaching or teaching knowledge to inspire the next generation and make a difference.


This position is ideal for students, teachers or teaching assistants looking for work during the school holidays (hours can be flexible) or sports and dances coaches looking for experience.


The Company


Kids Takeover is part of the First Step Sports Group, we are specialists in the planning, the organisation and delivery of our cost effective, fun, and inclusive School Holiday Camps and Academy Programmes; for children of all ages.

Our programmes are designed to increase participation, develop fundamental skills, and provide lasting memories for all those attending.

We are specialists in our field with extensive knowledge and hands on experience. We have a dedicated in-house team of talented, qualified coaches and event professionals.


Kids Takeover is passionate about Supporting Parents to Raise Happy, Healthy Kids by delivering, inclusive, high-quality activities for children, focusing on fun, professionally run sessions, and achieving our vision of becoming the regions most respected children's activity provider.


The Position


We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals, who thrive when working with children in an active environment to deliver as part of our Holiday Sports and Dance program.

You must have experience coaching or teaching young people and be able to demonstrate a commitment to coaching to high standards.


This is an inspiring and enjoyable post for confident, knowledgeable, and versatile individuals with the ability to engage young people.

You must work well in a team environment, be able to deliver and adapt the sessions by prioritising participant enjoyment and developing participant skills.


  • Temporary contract w/c 25th March w/e 1st September 2024 (to work during the Easter holidays & Summer holidays)
  • Applicants must have availability to work a minimum 6 days during the Easter holidays and 19 days during the summer holidays.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver a variety of sessions as part of our programme
  • Provide a fun and exciting learning experience
  • Follow our manual, policies, and procedures
  • Be versatile and participate and assist other sessions during the week
  • Be reliable and flexible
  • Demonstrate professionalism and build relationships with parents and children
  • Keep settings clean and tidy
  • Follow all health and safety requirements

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

  • 1 year teaching/coaching experience
  • Level 2 sports coaching qualification/or equivalent dance qualification (desirable)
  • Experience creating and following lesson plans
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Experience working with a variety of ages
  • First Aid and Child Protection Training
  • Desirable (qualifications can be provided
  • T & C's apply)
