Warehouse Operative - Derby, United Kingdom - smartshifts ltd
Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks in a warehouse environment
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment to move materials and products
- Build, stock, and organize inventory in designated areas
- Load and unload shipments from trucks or containers
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with AS400 or other inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and order fulfillment
Please note that this position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in a fast-paced environment.
