WE ARE POSTING ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT THE OAK TREE INN

  • We are looking for a Grounds & Maintenance Team member here at The Oak Tree Inn in Balmaha, on the banks of Loch Lomond. The role is ideal for someone who is handy and enjoys working outdoors.

The role will include:
_
- _Ensuring grounds are kept in a presentable manner_
- _Plants and flower beds are maintained to a high standard_
- _Gutters are kept clear_
- _Completion of minor improvements in guest accommodation e.g. fixing blinds, moving furniture, paint touch ups_
- _Chopping firewood_
- _Assisting with power cut protocols (training will be provided)_
- _Some light manual duties in the cellar and store rooms_
- _Power washing paved areas and gritting/salting when icy_
- _General plumbing knowledge would be advantageous but not essential_

  • All equipment and PPE will be provided._
  • Uniform is comfortable, outdoor wear._

Please note the role will include a lot of lone working outside, maintaining our beautiful property.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Balmaha, G63 0JQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
