Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Booking Coordinator to join our team at Space Dental.

The Booking Coordinator will play a vital role in managing patient appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling, and enhancing the overall patient experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate appointments for patients, taking into account dentist availability and patient preferences.
  • Confirm appointments with patients, providing necessary information and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling activities.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals and staff to optimise appointment scheduling and patient flow.
  • Utilise booking software or systems to streamline scheduling processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts or issues to minimise disruptions and maximise patient satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of booking policies and procedures to enhance overall effectiveness.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the dental or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customercentric approach.
  • Proficiency in using booking software or CRM systems.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to handle challenges or conflicts calmly and efficiently.
