HR Officer - Lozells, Birmingham

Reed Education is supporting a large secondary school based in Lozells Birmingham who are looking to appoint a HR officer to begin immediately.

The role will be to cover maternity leave.

The school based in Lozells Birmingham, cares deeply for the education, safety and the personal development of all it's students.

Experience of working in HR, preferably in a school environment
Possess strong knowledge of HR best practice, processes and employment law.
Be able to demonstrate expertise of employee relations and HR processes including recruitment training, induction, employment contracts etc.
Be level 5 CIPD qualified, however the school will consider someone with level 3 with extensive experience.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to influence, motivate and negotiate with other stakeholders.
Be confident, flexible and a strong team player
Good ICT skills and strong administrative and organisational skills
Understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion
Calm and professional under pressure
Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or be willing to pay for a new check to be done.
