Accounts Assistant

Permanent

Based in Hove (parking available)

£27,000 - £32,000 per annum


Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join an established well known SME company in the Hove area on a permanent basis.

This role can be what you want it to be, you can look after the accounts payable, reconciliations etc.

If you have desire to assist with month end, reporting, payroll etc, all this exposure is an option for you to enhance your experience.


Your duties will include:


  • Invoice posting & uploads
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Supplier payment Runs
  • Weekly PL report review & supplier account tidy
  • Bank payment posting & allocation
  • Credit Card transaction posting & allocation
  • Ad hoc reporting & reconciliation
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Monthly company vehicle depreciation & demo management
  • Possible Payroll work as well dependant on person
  • Various weekly/monthly reports
  • Posting journals
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Assist Management & Group Accountant as required

Key requirements:


  • Ideally studying towards AAT
  • A good level of Excel
  • Previous knowledge accounts payable from start to finish

Salary:
£27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

  • Portslade,

East Sussex:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:


  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
