Job Purpose:


Key Responsibilities:


  • System and Network Administration
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
  • Manage network operations including connectivity problems, installing & maintaining routers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Hardware and Software Management
  • Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
  • Ensure software licensing compliance and manage updates and upgrades.
  • Design and implementation of a new CRM system.
  • Cybersecurity
  • Implement and manage security solutions to protect company data and infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, recommending and implementing improvement measures as needed.
  • Technical Support and Training
  • Provide firstlevel support to all users, resolving technical issues and maintaining a high degree of customer service.
  • Train staff on new technologies and IT best practices.
  • Travel
  • Willingness to travel to various branches or office locations to provide IT support, manage IT infrastructure, and implement IT projects.

Requirements:


Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's and industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCNA) preferred.


Professional Experience:

Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, with expertise in systems, networks, and cybersecurity; prior solo IT role or small team leadership preferred.


Skills:


  • Indepth knowledge of computer systems and networks
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities
  • Independent work capability
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Pay:
£50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Flexitime
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
