About the role:


An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the President and Vice-Chancellor's Office as the Personal Assistant to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) Research and Enterprise, and the PVC Education.

We are looking to appoint a highly-organised, motivated individual able to work under their own initiative to provide comprehensive high-quality administrative and organisational support to two senior leaders.

You will ensure the efficient and effective operation of their portfolios, balancing their competing demands.


Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the President & Vice-Chancellor, you will also be a member of the Vice-Chancellor's Office and the Executive Support Group.

You will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of colleagues' workloads and priorities and help ensure that the office provides a continuous and seamless service at all times.


At the University, we are adopting an agile working approach which means that you will be both home and campus-based in a way that helps deliver a more effective work-life balance than ever before.

For this role, you will be on campus for a minimum of three days a week, which will be discussed further as part of the interview process.


About you:


You will possess the high standard of professional performance required to represent senior members of University staff, and the communication skills necessary to work with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience in a relevant role, coupled with a thorough understanding of the University's research and teaching endeavours and the general higher education environment.
