We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants for our client in West Cliff.

This position is within a luxury residential home setting.

The home is family run and you will be working with a team of loyal, caring and highly trained staff.

There is a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere.

You will be promoting freedom and independencefor their residents, by bringing your compassion and experience together to provide truly person centred care.

Our client is based within it's own 1 and a half acre grounds providing a peaceful and secure surrounding to enjoy the sea air with the residents


Healthcare Assistant duties may include supporting people with:

  • Supporting individuals with personal care, nutrition and hydration as well as moving and assisting that could include the use of equipment.
  • Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
  • Assisting our clients in performing practical tasks including shopping and community activities.
  • Working within both a nursing and residential unit in order to support clients to maintain their
- activities of daily living using a strengths-based approach.

  • Personal care
  • Checking and monitoring of medication
  • Exercise programs
  • Daily tasks, activities and hobbies inside and outside the home

Healthcare Assistant attributes:


  • The ability to write accurate and factual records
  • An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people
  • An understanding of promoting independence and human rights
  • The ability to support people while upholding dignity and respect
  • Knowledge of abuse and its indicators
  • An understanding of care plans and risk assessments
  • Dependable punctuality
  • A willingness to travel to different locations from daytoday
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in care
