Responsibilities

  • Responsible for finance administrative duties; including raising weekly purchase orders, review of weekly invoices versus purchase orders, adhoc running of weekly/monthly reports from SAP, management of VIM queue to resolve invoice queries, support with capital projects reporting
  • Reports to the Transport Finance Analyst and requires stakeholder relationships with the Management Accountants, Accounts Payable team, 3PL hauliers, Transport Planning team, Project teams
  • Daily support to the Logistics finance team
  • Raising of weekly 3PL haulier Purchase orders and reconciliation versus invoice
  • Support with raising POs for warehouse team(s) as required
  • Management of VIM to ensure timely and effective resolution of any unpaid/disputed invoices
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely issue resolution and ontime payment to suppliers
  • Work closely with Logistics finance team to calculate and post standard month end accruals and journals.
  • Provide financial administration support related to Capital Projects, financial data gathering, input, analysing, reporting. Order placement and payment reconciliation
  • Cover for other team members as required.

Qualifications

  • Some basic prior accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Build good rapport with a wideranging group of stakeholders
  • Clear communication skills
  • An eye for detail and spotting errors
  • Able to work methodically through work requirements
