Description
We are currently recruiting a Credit Controller / Finance Assistant on a fixed term basis of 3 Months. Immediate start required.


Job Summary
-
Accounts Receivable
  • Including _but not limited to_
  • Cash Collection & Allocation, Aged Debt Analysis ensuring all debt is collected promptly
  • Production of monthly Customer statements, Raising of Proforma Invoices


  • Query resolution

  • Investigate & Resolve queries in a timely manner with Internal & External Stakeholders
  • Self-Bills for VAT
  • Quarterly Sales Cutoff testing

Responsible for credit control and debt reporting. For review with the FD/GM

Cash Management

  • Monthly & Quarterly Cash Forecasting, Update daily cash books & completion of bank reconciliations

Accounts Payable

  • AP payment runs, statement reconciliation, verification and updating Supplier bank details
  • Daily invoice report for factoring
  • Nominal ledger and journal posting
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Audit queries

Personal Skills and Abilities

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • IT literate, including Microsoft Office, and most importantly excel
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload, working to strict deadlines
  • Organised
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
