Ultimate recruitment are looking for a Co-ordinator based in Peterborough.


Main purpose of this role:


  • Assist with the smooth running of the Pallet force team by ensuring timely and accurate preparing and delivering of all stock on a supply and need basis, including the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all products.
  • Through use of both company and external systems, act as a point of contact for internal teams within warehousing and transport operations teams and ensure that processes and system productivity targets are met.
  • Take an active role in the direction and delivery of all stock, to ensure best practice methods are used.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of administration and driver planning systems to achieve own accountabilities and optimum operational performance.

Must have:


  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in logistics or warehouse based role.
  • Strong PC knowledge including an intermediate or knowledge of excel spreadsheets and web based systems.
  • Confident individual with the ability to think quickly on your feet and confidently make decisions and can challenges, when the need arises, and at the appropriate level.
  • Reliable in approach to work and adaptable to fit into different teams and environments.
  • Highly organised, selfsufficient and able to work on own initiates, to tight deadlines and flexible in your approach to work and hours.
  • Own transport, full UK driving licence and ability to travel to work.

Accountable KPI's

  • Customer service
  • To ensure all deliveries are delivered on time in full and relay any issues back to our customers in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all drivers paperwork is processed within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Customer service
levels.

  • Budget control.
  • Alliance system management and completion.
  • Performance management of team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure effective and efficient customer service levels are maintained within the warehousing department by:
  • Briefing drivers on a daily basis regarding outloads and deliveries.
  • Carry out general stock administration and aid in the accuracy of paperwork at all times.
  • Achieve all set standards for the delivery/ordering of all items of stock and to achieve KPI targets using relevant systems.
  • Ensure all computer related work is on time and accurate.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times wearing company uniform, liaise with our sister sites, engage with other teams to deliver service requirements and increase customer relationship for long term business plans.

Shift patterns
Monday - Friday, Saturday 1:3 Rotation.

9 hour shift with an hour unpaid lunch break


Salary:
£25000 a year.
