Salary £60,000 gross per annum:

Our client, with a residence in St Johns Wood is seeking a top level, experienced hands-on Head Housekeeper to assist with maintaining the smooth running of their property.

Duties include:

Managing and organising a small team of housekeepers
Hands on housekeeping duties cleaning, tidying, knowledge of caring for artefacts, fine furniture, materials such as natural wood and marble is essential
Working closely with personal stylist and care of fine garments and valuable pieces (experience with this is imperative)
Management of the house overseeing contractors, ordering, stocktaking etc
Reporting expenses credit card holder for the property working in harmony with the Operations Manager
Possible travel with the client, up to 3 months of the year either alongside the principal or to train members of staff in other households
Excellent abilities in housekeeping and able to manage their own duties as well as the duties of others to ensure the residence is run at the most efficient and effective level
Meticulous attention to detail
Effective and clear communication skills
Presentable and polite with a good attitude
Top level of experience working within a similar capacity with proven longevity in previous positions
Able to offer flexibility to work longer hours when the principal is in residence and able to travel when required
Experience using Excel and Word, tech savvy
Dog friendly the principal has 2 large dogs
Must be easily able to commute to St Johns Wood

Working days/hours:

when the principal is not in residence you will be working 5 days per week, 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm.

When the principal is in residence you will be required to work longer hours/be more flexible with your time.

Salary:
£60,000 gross per annum.
