You will be integral to managing technical performance data across our existing water and wastewater operational contracts, existing Technical Services contracts and supporting the development of new solutions and contracts.

What will you be doing?

  • Analyse operational data through business tools i.e. MS Excel, Google sheets, eSight energy, MS Power BI
  • Support maintenance and improvement of data acquisition and quality tools; ensure data quality is maintained, highlight deficiencies and support correction
  • Manage performance mailbox; work with wider teams to respond to data queries, prioritise information & business needs related to technical performance
  • Design and build new/ enhance/ automated reporting and dashboards
  • Liaise with wider water technical team and operational staff to understand practices, identify inconsistencies and then recommend corrective measures; create and run reports to track improvement
  • Benchmark performance of sites against agreed targets/ utilising standards and best practices & report/ take action on findings
  • Presentation of analysis/ project outputs i.e. reports/ presentations/ webinars to suit audience and make recommendations
  • Engagement with wider teams to support their use and understanding of information contained within key business information tools.
What are we looking for?

  • A degree or equivalent within an analytical/ scientific field demonstrating good numerical/ analytical skills
  • Proficient in use of Excel/Google Sheets functions
  • Strong attention to detail & accuracy with good problem solving ability
  • Team player who is organised, selfmotivated and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Experience working with technical / process / operational datasets desirable
  • Experience of MS Power BI, eSight energy or similar is advantageous
