The Role

You will act as Head of Postgraduate Administration for the Faculty and School. You will lead on the joint Postgraduate vision for the Schools of Biological Sciences and Clinical Medicine.

You will oversee staff who run the School's new multi-pathway MPhil, the BBSRC DTP, the Amgen Programme and the Experience Life Sciences Programme and take responsibility for future new programmes that are developed.

You will act as Secretary to the Faculty's Degree Committee.

Your Skills

  • A degree with significant experience in working in academic affairs in an HEI environment and managing teams of people.
  • A full understanding of the University's legislative environment.
  • Can synthesise complex information into userfriendly guidance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups and build networks.
  • Strong office skills.
