We're currently recruiting for a Transport Controller to be based at our site in East Leake, Leicestershire for our transport operations for our customer - British Gypsum.

You will be working 10am - 6pm on our Mid shift

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £24,000. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations
Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner
Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner
Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations as necessary.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

Good administrative skills
Have a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
