Opus Vitae are actively recruiting for a
Machinist for our client based within the
Portsmouth area


working hours:
start time 5:30-6pm Monday-Thursday, 10hr shifts. Friday overtime availability.


Experience we're looking for...

  • CAM Programming experience
  • Heidenhain conversant.
  • Experience of work holding best practices.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and CAD data
  • Flexible approach to workload

Your daily job duties will include...

  • CAM programming
  • Setting and operating a GFMS Mikron 3 and 5 axis milling machines.
  • Assist with any other function of the business when required.
Multi axis experience is advantageous although strong 3 axis CAM programmers would be considered. Experience machining Injection mould tools also advantageous.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £19.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Portsmouth, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Machinist: 2 years (required)
