Rota completed 2 weeks in advance Monday - Sunday


Hours per week:
Full time 35hrs per week or more/ Open to Part time

£ £15


Purpose of the role:

You would be required to support service users of a residential home for the elderly.

The home has a population of around 50 elderly members who require help in their day to day tasks and care.

This could include such things as personal care, those with mental disorders or dementia care or those who are on the autism spectrum.

The home is split between various units.

The key requirements of the role would be to perform and maintain the highest level of care possible throughout the entirety of the day to give the service users the best possible outcome in their day to day lives.

This would include assisting residents when needed, for personal care, dressing, washing, and toileting where required, as well as displaying a can do attitude and level of compassion and friendship in your approach to caring for them in their daily lives.

Some residents may have progressive illnesses that may obstruct them of doing certain tasks and may need special assistance with them while others may need help during the final stages of their life.

This means every service user requires a alternative approach that is catered towards their specific needs, whether that be limited mobility or just being a friendly and comforting influence.

You would need to ensure that all care plans and daily activities are completed and updated to reflect each individuals' personal needs.


  • Experience of working within a care setting, preferred knowledge of end of life care and learning difficulties.
  • Compliance: Up to date documentation such as a PVG/DBS and Right to Work documentation
  • Ability to travel to and from work independently with no obstructions to work life
  • Ability to show commitment to shifts agreed when allocated is essential
