MLC Partners are working with a leading healthcare charity to recruit a Finance Analyst to join a growing team for an initial period of 6 months, with the likelihood of extension following this.

The role will suit someone with a highly analytical mindsetwho is an advanced user of Excel.
Reporting into the Head of FP&A, the main responsibilities of the role are:

Working with the business partnering team to provide insightful analysis of the monthly management accounts for the exec team.
Prepare the templates for a minor forecast in May and the annual forecasting process in the summer.
Develop the budget template spreadsheet, implementing preagreed improvements to the template.
Maintain and improve the Excel tools used by stakeholders, ensuring they are fully updated and accurate to the ongoing organisational change.
Highly proficient in Excel, including the use of compound formulas and ideally Macros and VBA.
A partqualified or newly qualified accountant with a commercial approach.
An analytical person with an investigative mindset
