The client we are currently cooperating with are a logistics maintenance and manufacturer mainly dealing with vehicular and transport services.

The client conduct on a national scale and have a wide range of clients from all disciplines.

The company areagain looking to expand their current finance depart in attempt to keep up with the influx of demand and processes.


Description

Key responsibilities for an accounts assistant include:

  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Working amongst a team based environment.
  • Preparing statutory accounts.
  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
  • Organising incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt.
  • Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

Profile

  • Capable of organising large numerical figures.
  • Microsoft experienced.
  • Experienced within the accounting background.
  • Experience in an Accounts Payable environment.
  • Able to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
  • Analytically adept and able problem solver.
  • Competent in terms of computer and system software relating (Sap, spreadsheets, excel).
  • Accurate to a high level when recording and inputting data.
  • Extremely organised in regards to working cooperatively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Dynamic and proactive.
