General Manager - Nitra (SK)
Our client is a PE-backed, UK-headquartered, fast-growth, global, precision pressing and stamping engineering and distributing company.

As part of the Group, their Nitra (SK) based site is seeking a new General Manager to further expand and develop thisexisting organisation alongside their sister companies, reporting to the CEO based the UK.

We are seeking to appoint a driven, energetic and experienced leader, with a proven track record of running manufacturing sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Operations Director/GM/Site MD to be part of an ambitious management team in a globalbusiness that is focused on sales growth and profit improvement across the medical, automotive and industrial sectors.

Employing 120 staff and in a modern manufacturing environment, this site is part of a c£30M Group (growing to £40M in 2023) which has a strong plan for growth, both organically and through diversification into new market sectors such as Eco-Tech.

Site Key Performance Indicators (to include but limited to):

Financial : Revenue, Added Value, Gross Margin, EBITDA, Capex.
Operations : OTIF, OEE, SMED, Change Overs, COPQ.
Quality : Internal PPM, External PPM, 8D Customer scorecard, COPQ
H&S : LTI Days, Near Misses, Observations
Supply Chain : Supplier OTIF, Supplier Quality, PPV, SPV.

In partnership with the Group Senior Leadership Team, you will continue the definition of, and deployment of strategic business goals:

Directly leading and managing the following functions:

- o Finance (will maintain dot line to CFO)
- o Supply Chain

Customer Account Management
Planning
Logistics
Procurement

- o Manufacturing
- o Toolroom
- o Site maintenance
- o EHSQ

From time to time be prepared to engage directly at Board/Investor levels.
Collaborate with Group SLT, Sales, Engineering and functional managers in Slovakia.

With strong manufacturing credentials, you should be capable of hitting the ground running and be able to communicate at all levels.

Whilst able to deal with manufacturing issues, you should also be capable of managing the multiple functions within the operationand be able to delegate effectively.

We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager (GM) to direct and Manage this organisation's business activities and to develop and implement effective teams, processes and systems to deliver manufacturing excellence - with full P&L accountability.

You will ensure policies and procedures are followed and developed to maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
