Job Purpose Statement

Asset Management Technology is a dynamic service focused organisation dedicated to ensuring excellent outcomes for our partners in Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

We are looking for a product owner for the Columbia Threadneedle Investments client portal,which provides clients with interactive reporting and analytics capability.

You will work with multiple stakeholders across Investments & Responsible Investing, Client Reporting, Information Management and Technology to define, design, and deliver the digitalproduct by leveraging a combination of vendor and in-house developed solutions.

You will be collaborating and partnering with a diverse set of people where you will be valued for your skills, including your digital thought leadership and ability to implementand deliver in a matrixed organization.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Own and lead the strategy, design, and roadmap of the Client Portal platform to service the evolving global business and client needs.
  • Collaborate with a matrix of global business leaders, technologists, information management, analytics, operations, UI/UX designers, training, and compliance to build a compelling digital solution that delivers a differentiated client experience.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments for new platform features based on market and client research to continuously evolving the portal roadmap.
  • Bridge business and technical considerations that result in innovative solutions.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking portal use and client interactions.
  • Foster a successful product team and provide guidance to deliver bestinclass capabilities and client experience.
  • Collaborate with technology peers and leaders to integrate and position the Portal solution in the global technology ecosystem.
  • Ensure regulations around legal, privacy, security, and compliance requirements are met.

Key Capabilities:


  • You will have relevant experience:
  • With portals, and digital client servicing technology
  • Working in financial services and product management
  • Championing organizational change, e.g., leading initiatives, products, services, or interactions
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex information in understandable way to all levels of the organization.
  • You can quickly build rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels.
  • You can work independently.

Desired Capabilities:


  • Ability to quickly learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud technology space.
  • Experience with agile delivery as a Product Owner.
  • Experience transforming product or software development practices to become more agile.
  • You have a bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
