Securitas are recruiting for Night Shift Aviation Security Officers based on our Broughton site.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for
Security Officers. If you share our company values and this role appeals to you we would love to hear from you.

Working an average of 42hrs a week (4 on, 4 off shift pattern)
:

Shift patterns 18:00- 06:00 and 21:00-09:00
:

No SIA or security experience required full training will be provided
:

UK Manual Driving Licence (current with no endorsements)
:

Must be willing and able to achieve SC Clearance.

How you will make an impact as an Aviation Security Officer:


  • Carry out access control duties, Xray items, conduct physical body searches and ensure only authorised personnel and vehicles enter the Security Restricted Area.
  • Manage all entry and exit posts by checking ID cards and any required documentation.
  • Control vehicle access to the airport and ensure that the vehicles are authorised to enter.
  • Undertake patrols, escort and ensure safety of all persons, vehicle and high value cargo to specific locations within the airport.
  • Use radio/telephone and liaise with and summon assistance from Police, Immigration and other emergency services as necessary.
  • Maintain security and alarm systems whilst logging any incidents and submitting clear reports.
  • Check seals and paperwork on any items entering from a Regulated Agent or Known Consigner.
  • Encourage a high standard of Customer Care, advise and assist members of staff on general enquiries and promote a positive and professional image of Securitas.

Right to work in the UK, 5 year checkable history and pass a high level of security clearance

  • Hold a current clean Manual UK Driving Licence.
  • Be able to implement, Airport Byelaws and to deal with offenders.
  • Willing to undergo a colour deficiency test at interview as must clearly define colours to interpret X-Ray.
  • Productively take instruction and carry out tasks thoroughly and consistently.
  • Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Willing to undergo any relevant training, work weekends and 12 hour shifts days only.

Desirable:


  • Previous experience and holding a relevant First Aid and Manual Handling certificate.

Face to face interviews will be held and a colour deficiency test will be taken, please inform us if you require any reasonable adjustments.
