Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dorchester Community Mental Health Team to recruit a Full Time/Part Time/Job Share Team Secretary into our busy administrative team.

We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with very good administrative and audio typing skills to join our existing team.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an efficient secretarial, administrative and reception support for the clinical and medical staff within team and will liaise with members of the public and a variety of professionals, both in primary and secondary care services.

Given the nature of this service, some patients may contact us in distress, therefore we are looking for resilient applicants, with a compassionate work ethos, a calm and approachable manner who can thrive with the right level of support being offered by peers and the Administration Team Leader.

This role will be challenging and varied within the well-established and supportive team, where we have strong values about working in a patient centred manner.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills, previous administrative experience and a willingness to learn.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
