SEN Teaching Assistant

JOB PURPOSE:

Career Teachers have an progressive role for a Special Educational Needs teaching assistant to support students with ASD, located in a large SEN school in Derby, situated close to public transport links.

We are seeking an dynamic and enthusiastic individual with experience of working with children with special educational needs.

Working as a Teaching Assistant is a highly rewarding role, you will play an important role in providing and stimulating learningenvironment, through effective teamwork and a supporting nature aid in the development of young aspiring children.

'WHAT' - you do

Providing a stimulating learning environment through effective teamwork and a supporting nature aid in the development of young aspiring children.
Have a passion and experience supporting special educational needs individuals as a care/support worker or voluntary experience with SEN individuals.
Having confident knowledge and implementing lessons from the National Curriculum or be willing to learn.
Doing full time Mon-Fri

- £70-£95 per day

CPD courses available.

Transparent with everyone, working in collaboration with all staff members and outside agencies.
Skilled be prepared to have an effective behaviour management strategy in place.
Resilient with your approach to teaching, finding the best methods and tools to support learners with a personalised pedagogy.
An interest in working with students with SEND.
An adaptive and flexible approach to learning.
Experience working with SEN.
Qualified TAs to Level 2 or 3 is preferred.
