_Come and join us as the new Practice Supervisor_


We are looking for a talented and motivated Practice Supervisor to provide line management and coaching to designated staff, who will support the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager with the day to day management of the home and lead by example by promoting professionalism and high standards of practice, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of Broadwalk Children's Home.

You will be joining an ambitious service with strong leadership and clear lines of support. There will be a dedicated induction and training / development programme and time set aside for quality reflective supervision.

What skills and experience will I need?


You will have, as a minimum, a Level 5 Workforce Diploma in Social Care Management or equivalent and will have excellent working knowledge of the Children Act and the Quality Standards and Regulations for Children's Homes.


As well as having a strong track record of working directly with children, young people and families, you will have extensive supervisory experience within a social care setting.


Along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be committed to working with colleagues and external professionals to ensure young people's needs are met, and risk managed effectively.


You will need to be reliable, flexible and prepared to work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins.
