Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, MRK Associates is recruiting for a driven and ambitious Data Analyst to join an amazing business with exceptional growth plans on a permanent basis.

This Private Equity backed, modern business has such a great story to shareand have grown at 20% YOY for the past 5 years.


This role will suit someone who is seeking a long term role within Data Analytics, this role will not suit someone who is looking to progress their career into Data Science, as this role cannot offer that type of progression.


This is an extremely varied role giving exposure to all departments and data within the business, there will be elements of data analysis, report building, process documentation, process development, process delivery as well as low level exposure to IT systemsand support.

The successful individual will have an understanding and proven experience of data modelling & data manipulation. They must also be able to use SQL to extract data and manipulate large datasets.

This role is busy and varied so therefore it is key to be organisedand have the ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and work independently managing your own workload.


Job responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the schedule for updating and the distribution of internal reporting, including KPIs and departmental reports.
  • Collation of data required for the Monthly board pack
  • Data extraction and cleansing for scheduled reports
  • Working closely with the Business Data Analyst on the creation of new KPI and departmental reports, taking them into production.
  • Troubleshooting existing reports and rectifying issues
  • Maintaining sales toolkits using Customer, Product and Sales data using Excel
  • Tracking and management of IT system user permissions, setting up new users and removing company leavers
  • Arranging for repairs to damaged or broken hardware
  • Ordering new assets as required (phones, printers, scanners etc)
  • IT asset management tracking
