About The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated MRI radiographer to join our AML team at the Taunton Diagnostic Centre.
Serving patients across the county, the centre is located away from the busy hospital making it more accessible and convenient for referrers and their patients.
Offering a range of diagnostic imaging, our friendly team offers patients a calm and efficient scanning service.The centre is a modern imaging unit based near junction 25 of the M5 at Taunton.
The MRI department is equipped with Philips Ingenia Elition 3T and Philips Ingenia Ambition X 1.5T MRI scanners and undertakes a range of out-patient examinations and research studies.
Required Skills and Experience:
This vacancy would suit an experienced MRI Radiographer and must have proven leadership skills and excellent clinical knowledge (preferably Philips).
- BSc/DCR in Diagnostic Radiography and/or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 4 years modality specific experience and ideally evidence of Post-Graduation certification
- IV Cannulation Certificate essential
- AML can support with this if required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- HCPC (or appropriate professional body) registration essential
- Must be IT literate
For this role you must have a patient-focused attitude to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
