Customer Service & Contract Advisor (Known internally as Contract & Status Specialist
)

Contract - 2
x 12 Month FTC (with potential to go permanent)**
Location - Rearsby, Leicester (onsite parking available)**
Hours: 37.5
hours per week

Based in our purpose-built office in rural Leicestershire with countryside views, you will be part of a growing, sociable team with plenty of events and celebrations (we are rarely short of a few snacks in the office).

We are currently operating a flexible working policy which enables you to work from home one day a week and we have the opportunity to get involved in local environmental projects, volunteering days, and other optional activities.


Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Assessment & Review of Contractor Status. This involves assessing a contractors' contracts on an individual basis and determining their IR35 status resulting in an either inside or outside of IR35 determination, with recommendations as to how the contract can be improved or made to be an outside opinion.
  • Contract Rereviews. Once an assessment has been performed, and alterations are suggested, rereview the contract and provide a revised opinion.
  • Review of working practices. Similar to the above but based on the reality of a contractors' actual working practices, rather than contractual terms.
  • Online IR35 Status tests. Based upon Contractors working practices arrangements, in line with Public Sector Guidelines/ incoming private sector guidelines and where required liaising with all relevant parties regarding the outcome.
  • Telephone consultancy services. Generally, IR35 related questions, and IR35 insurancebased questions where appropriate.
  • Writing articles and case studies around IR35 and related matters where required.
  • Assisting the sales team with IR35 & Insurance related matters.
  • Performing IR35 liability calculations
  • Assist the consultancy team
  • Assist in the training of new staff within all departments where required

Skills and Experience Specification:


Essential:


  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational Skills
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft office products
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Desirable:


  • Previous experience in an IR35 related role
